The planet is getting warmer. 14 of the 15 hottest years on record have been in the past 15 years. Already today in Miami streets now flood at high tide.
Along the coasts thousands of miles of highways and roads, railways and energy facilities are all vulnerable. It's estimated that a further increase in sea level of just one-foot by the end of this century could cost the USA $200 billion dollars.
